James joined Thackray Williams in October 2023 as a paralegal in the Employment department. In September 2024, he began his training as a solicitor, rotating through the Residential Property and Employment departments. He is currently a trainee in the Private Client department.
As a trainee solicitor, James assists on a variety of matters.
Prior to joining Thackray Williams, James completed his BA (Hons) in Business and Management (Law) before taking a LLM in Legal Foundations at Bath Spa University. He is currently studying to complete his SQE.
Before starting his training contract, James worked within the Employment department as a paralegal, assisting on matters relating to settlement agreements, preparing client advice, attending meetings, liaising with clients, and compiling bundles.
Outside of the firm, James enjoys painting with acrylics and spending time with friends and family.
