Vikki is an equity partner and head of our Residential Property Departments.

With a law degree and a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course, Vikki joined Thackray Wood (which later became Thackray Williams following a merger) to complete her training and has risen through the ranks of the firm to become a highly regarded Partner and head of our Residential Property and Leasehold team. Practising in Commercial Property until 2014, Vikki later moved on to Residential Leasehold.

Award winning, Vikki was ‘Highly Commended’ for both Young Professional of the Year and Regional Professional of the Year at the Enfranchisement and Right to Manage Awards in 2015, with her team receiving the same accolade for Regional Professional of the Year in 2016.

In her role, Vikki helps leaseholders, freeholders and intermediate landlords with all manner of residential lease-related matters. These include, amongst others, lease extensions, freehold acquisitions and disposals, variations of leases, licences to carry out works, grant of new leases, licences to assign leases, landlord enquiries and deed of covenants.

Clients include tenants who want to sell their flat but cannot because the lease is short and they are unsure how to progress, freeholders who have had a notice served on them to extend the lease, or would like to dispose of their freehold interest, or a group of tenants who want to buy the freehold.

Always putting the client first, continually updating them on their transaction, Vikki is organised and quick to respond. Making sure she is on-hand to talk matters through, she enjoys helping clients to understand the technical side of the legislation with which they are involved.

Vikki is a Governor of her local village primary school, and is also part of the leaderships team for the Kings Hill Football club business partnership.

When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and playing sports.
