Sibel is a Trainee Solicitor at Thackray Williams LLP and has completed seats in Commercial Property and Employment Law.
She completed the LPC at BPP Law School, studied a masters in Law and Economics (LLM) at Queen Mary University of London; securing a distinction in her dissertation which explored ‘An Economic Approach to Article 102 TFEU’ and obtained a 2:1 in her Law (LLB) degree at the University of Essex.
Prior to joining the firm Sibel gained 5 years’ experience at an international Fintech organisation in roles across project management, service improvement, transaction monitoring, compliance and client services. With first-hand experience working with technology, workflows, AI and machine learning, Sibel continually looks for strategic solutions to improve internal and external processes for the ultimate benefit of client experience. With business and commercial acumen, Sibel possesses a strong interest in commercial law and remains mindful of client’s personal and business goals when working on legal matters.
Outside of work, Sibel is the founder of BeComAware, a platform which teaches commercial awareness, educating members on the commercial language, about the business world and keeping members current on commercial affairs. The platform has secured Ambassador presence and partnerships with university societies across the U.K and she therefore delivers workshops for students across the country. In her spare time Sibel likes to travel, has an interest in photography, fitness and recently trained for the race for life helping to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
