Joanne joined Thackray Williams in January 2026 as a Senior Associate in the Employment team based in the London office.
Joanne is happy to work with employer-organisations and with individual clients. Her particular areas of interest include discrimination, especially harassment and neurodiversity as well as complex workplace disputes and the ethical use of AI in employment.
Before embarking on her legal career, Joanne was a senior HR professional. This previous experience allows her to provide a true business-partnering service to clients. Joanne is technically knowledgeable and passionate about the law, while also having deep knowledge of the pragmatic and commercial considerations relevant in any employee relations case. She is driven and
focussed and will always strive to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients.
