Senior Associate Legal Executive
Bromley office
Sam joined Thackray Williams in May 2025 as a Senior Associate Legal Executive within the Private Client Team. Sam qualified in June 2020 and previously worked with a leading Kent firm for 9 years.
Sam specialises in all aspects of Private Client advice. He has expertise in tax planning for high net worth individuals, business owners, families and trustees, as well as advising on Wills, Trusts and the administration of high net worth estates.
Sam also has significant experience in the administration of contested estates, having cross specialised at his previous firm whilst working in the Contentious Trusts and Probate team for over three years. During this time Sam completed the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) qualification which has greatly assisted with his work in the Private Client field.
Sam thoroughly enjoys providing tax advice to clients, whether their circumstances be simple or very complex, through the ownership of substantial personal and/or business assets, as well as assets in other jurisdictions. Sam has also taken a keen interest in advising on the taxation of individuals abroad for estate planning purposes.
Having worked with clients for numerous years, Sam is able to easily translate complex matters into simple, understandable language for clients. He has a personal manner as to how he approaches both simple and complex circumstances, and this helps him to develop long lasting relationships with clients.
Outside of work Sam enjoys spending most of his time with his family and going to the gym. He is also a lifelong Arsenal fan and frequently attends home matches with his son, which he loves doing.
