Caroline is a Partner in the Family department. An experienced Family Solicitor, she is a member of Resolution and holds a Law Society Accreditation in Family Law.
Caroline has specialised in Family Law since qualifying in 2009. She joined Thackray Williams in 2016.
In her role, Caroline deals with all types of Family Law cases, ranging from divorce or separation, where all matters are agreed, through to complex litigation over financial or children-related matters. She also drafts and reviews family contracts including separation agreements and pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
Caroline has a varied caseload of family work with a particular focus on financial matters following divorce.
She has experience in high net worth cases often with an international element.
She deals with maintenance claims, complex tax issues, investment property portfolios, pension investments and family companies.
Caroline also has experience with enforcement proceedings and appeals.
Praised for its ‘real depth of knowledge’, the family team at Thackray Williams LLP collaborates with the firm’s property and commercial teams as its private wealth offering, advising on pre- and post-nuptial agreements and complex trust structures.
