Amit is a Senior Associate in our Commercial Property team and is based in the London office. He has significant experience in acting for both U.K. and overseas based clients in a broad range of real estate matters.
Amit has been a practising Solicitor in London and the West End for well over a decade and brings with him a wealth of experience advising clients in range of sectors covering retail, leisure, manufacturing and healthcare.
On land development matters Amit’s client base ranges from large scale to independent developers which involves dealing with the acquisition, assembly and disposal of residential and commercial development sites. This often requires advising on matters such as conditional contracts, option agreements, overage and restrictive covenant issues.
Amit frequently acts in the acquisition and disposal of investment properties. This includes dealing with both private sales and auction transactions often for multi-occupancy and mixed-use properties. Additionally, Amit advises both commercial landlords and tenants in a variety of sectors on new lettings, assignments and alterations, as well as providing general asset management support.
Amit also acts as an advisor to family offices, trust corporations and high net worth individuals, based both in the U.K. and overseas, on their investment and personal real estate matters.
Amit prides himself on being approachable and providing his clients with friendly, straightforward and commercially sensible advice.
Away from work, Amit enjoys indulging in his love of watching film and television, although this now often takes a back seat as he is kept very busy with his young family.
