Thackray Williams celebrates recognition and continues to grow its presence in the Chambers Guide 2026

Thackray Williams is pleased to announce it has continued to expand its reach and presence in the Chambers rankings for 2026, with rankings across 4 practice areas and 3 individuals, including first-time rankings, highlighting the firm's growing strength and continued excellence.
The Chambers Guide are legal sector rankings based on rigorous independent research/analysis and client interviews that identify and ranks law firms, practice areas and individual lawyers.
Thackray Williams' family team has achieve a first-time ranking for the family/matrimonial category for the South with Partner Caroline Burstein being ranked for the first time demonstrating their significant advancement.
The firms' employment team has improved their ranking for the South from band 4 to 3, with Partner and Head of Employment, Emma Thompson maintaining her recognition in the category.
The Real Estate litigation team has been recognised receiving a first-time ranking with the Real Estate team maintaining their ranking.
Nick Gabay has retained his band 1 ranking (20 years ranked) for Corporate/M&A (£5m+).
