We are honoured to welcome guest speaker District Judge Cridge, who will be providing insights into the Domestic Abuse Protection Order (DAPO) pilot scheme currently operating in Bromley, Croydon and Sutton Family Courts..
Additionally, we welcome Hannah Gomersall of Coram Chambers for an in-depth analysis of coercive control within the Family Court. Five years on from the landmark Re H-N judgment, Hannah will evaluate our current standing, focusing on:
- Recognising and pleading coercive control
- Relevance to risk
- Approaches to risk assessment
- The political canvas: removing the presumption of parental involvement
- “Lawfare" and the increased scope of s.91(14)
