Rob joined Thackray Williams as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2018. In September 2020, Rob qualified into the Dispute Resolution Team. Rob specialises in instructions crossing Commercial and Property Litigation, Insolvency and Contested Debt Recovery.
Before joining the firm, Rob studied a History undergraduate degree at the University of Hull, and his Graduate Diploma in Law and Master of Laws/Legal Practise Course at the University of Law in Guildford. Whilst studying at the University of Law, Rob worked part time with a small family Law Firm as a Legal Assistant, assisting with a wide variety of Private Client and Property matters.
Prior to undertaking his studies to become a Solicitor, Rob spent time travelling and pursuing his interests: adventure sports including skiing, rock climbing and hiking; as well as playing rugby. Outside of work, Rob still enjoys these pursuits, as well as reading (mainly historical non-fiction) and listening to music.
Rob enjoys taking on a wide variety of instructions, and enjoys getting into the details of a matter to provide sound advice and a route forward to resolution for the client.
