Paula Irvine

Her main practice areas include acting for landlords and tenants on commercial leases, management of property portfolios and investment sales and purchases. Paula also handles all aspects of commercial conveyancing and secured lending and acts for landowners in connection with land development for commercial and residential purposes.

Paula trained at Theodore Goddard, later Addleshaw Goddard, qualifying as a solicitor in 2004 into the Real Estate Department. She moved to Pinsent Masons in 2007 with a partner eventually leaving to pursue family life in 2012. At Pinsent Masons Paula gained extensive experience in the Landlord and Tenant field acting for large retail clients and hotel companies. She also worked on property management work for a large Property Owning Estate and worked on investment sales and purchases for Institutional Investors. After a brief career break, Paula joined Thackray Williams in 2016.

Her background and training has ensured Paula has an eye for detail and an understanding of not just the law but the commercial realities of any transaction. Clients describe her as "commercially astute" and a "a safe pair of hands". Paula enjoys working closely with her clients and understanding their business to achieve a satisfactory outcome in all circumstances.

Outside of work Paula enjoys spending time with her children and family dog, Lola. She enjoys theatre and watching rugby. Paula is an active member in her local netball club, a sport she has participated in and loved since she was ten years old growing up in Australia.
