Katie Williams

Katie Williams is a residential conveyancing solicitor based at our Bromley office. Daily she deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing, including: sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold land, transfers of equity, remortgages, equity release, shared ownership and right to buy.

In her role Katie believes that communication is key. She states that maintaining an open dialogue with her clients is fundamental to keeping them happy and well informed. Indeed, her clients regularly remark on her pleasant and friendly approach and her natural ability to give often complex legal processes clarity.

Katie was inspired at a very early age to have a career in law by a family member and has single-mindedly pursued her dream ever since. She studied law at the University of Southampton, moved to Guildford to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC) before joining us and qualifying into our Residential Conveyancing Department in 2012.

She is very proud of the local reputation that Thackray Williams has in the area and the close relationships that she has formed with local estate agents because of it. She feels that, from a client’s perspective, this puts her in a unique position within the market to keep matters moving and push them through to completion quicker.

Katie is a keen motor racing fan and enjoys watching and attending motor racing events, in particular the British Grand Prix which she attends every year. In quieter times she is an avid reader, movie-goer and enjoys spending time with her family.

Katie is currently on maternity leave.
