Staff at Thackray Williams have made an egg-stra special effort this year to give disadvantaged children in the region an Easter egg. The firm have collected over 200 Easter eggs for Bromley Brighter Beginnings, a charity that helps parents in need, throughout the London Borough of Bromley.
BBB is a local charity run by mums that helps disadvantaged families with essential items such as cots, prams and clothes to help them care for their children. Emma Martin, Chair at Bromley Brighter Beginnings said “At certain times of the year, such as Easter and Christmas, it can be hard for those in financial hardship to see their children potentially go without the treats that others take for granted. Every one of the 150 staff at Thackray Williams Solicitors has made a real effort to collect as many eggs as possible. We are really impressed with what they have achieved so far”
The charity hopes to begin giving out hundreds of chocolate eggs over the Easter period and it is clear that this initiative will bring a lot of joy to many children that would have gone without this year.
Sean Sanders, Managing Partner at Thackray Williams says “Bromley Brighter Beginnings is an egg-cellent charity and it is no eggs-aggeration to say that they offer some much needed support in the local community. We hatched a plan to collect 250 eggs, which might sound Egg-stravagent, but we are not treating it as a yolk.”
