It was a real privilege to be able to sponsor ‘Kent’s most Inspiring Person living with dementia’ award at the Kent Dementia Awards ceremony held at County Hall in Maidstone yesterday afternoon. We really enjoyed meeting the nominees, getting to know them a little better and presenting them with their very well deserved awards.
The event was a great opportunity to celebrate all of the hard work which has taken place in Kent over the last year and the real and positive impact it has had on the lives of those who have been diagnosed with Dementia and their families. There are only winners at an event such as this and it is clear that all of the effort which has gone into making our communities more Dementia friendly has not gone unnoticed.
Well done to all those who were nominated and a special thanks to Emma, Tracey, Jo, Kelly and Lizzie for hosting yet another inspirational event.
