Nearly 100 leaders from across the voluntary sector came together for a conference on the 18th November 2015 at Oakley House.
Nearly 100 leaders from across the voluntary sector came together for a conference on the 18th November 2015 at Oakley House. The conference – called ‘Leading the Sector towards 2020’ – included keynote speeches from Doug Patterson, Chief Executive, Bromley Council and Angela Bhan, Chief Executive, Bromley Clinical Commissioning Group.
After the conference, a reception was held to celebrate Community Link Bromley’s 50th birthday. The cake was cut by the Mayor of Bromley, Councillor Kim Botting, assisted by Ian Dallaway (CLB Chair), Pat Spence (Honorary Vice President), Elliot Lewis (Thackray Williams) and Colin Maclean, (CLB Chief Executive).
Colin Maclean stated that ‘the success of the conference combined with celebrations to mark 50 years of Community Links Bromley demonstrates the vitality, endurance and strength of the voluntary sector in Bromley - a very positive foundation for the challenges we all face in the future’
