Darren is a Solicitor specialising in Civil and Commercial Litigation. His main areas of practise include landlord and tenant (commercial & residential), commercial and contractual disputes resolution and neighbour and boundary disputes.
Upon completion of his law degree Darren studied for a Masters in Law at University College London. He then worked in the Court of Appeal for year gaining experience of the civil court system. After qualifying as a Solicitor in small firm specialising in residential property, Darren worked for a niche city firm with a mixed property-based practise. He joined Thackray Williams in 2012.
As part of his current case load Darren works on complex residential and commercial property matters. He also undertakes work for individuals and businesses in court proceedings and through alternative dispute resolution. Darren has extensive experience of negotiating settlements and presenting cases at court.
Darren attends regular courses to ensure that he keeps up to date with the latest legal developments. He is a good listener who is able to empathise with his clients. Darren will always try to advise clients on the commercial reality of litigation or resolving disputes whilst seeking a practical and common sense approach specific to the facts.
Darren puts client service as one of the most important elements of his role as a Solicitor. He always tries to ensure that he is available for his clients. His friendly and approachable style makes it easy for clients to work with him in order to get the right result in resolving their matters. Darren enjoys helping people get justice, righting wrongs and resolving disputes.
Away from work, Darren regularly attends Bromley Citizen’s Advice Bureau and is also involved in a number of initiatives for disadvantaged children and teenagers.
When not working, he likes DIY, spending time with his family and contemplating playing football again.
