South East Property Expo 2018 welcomes Dick Strawbridge

Sustainability expert and much loved TV presenter Dick Strawbridge is confirmed as one of the keynote speakers at this years’ South East Property Expo to be held at the Hop Farm, Paddock Wood, on the 11th October 2018.

Strawbridge, who presents programmes on sustainable living, engineering and property including, It’s not easy being green and Escape to the chateau, will be detailing his own unconventional and fascinating experiences with property. He joins a line-up also featuring Pippa Jameson, a respected Interior stylist and TV designer. Pippa is a much called upon expert appearing on hit renovation shows The Hotel Inspector, The Fixed and Bad Builders: Bang to Rights.

‘The full line-up is still yet to be confirmed but we are really pleased to have secured some really interesting speakers at this early stage in the planning. We are confident that the show is going to be much bigger than last year’ says James Bradshaw, marketing manager from organisers, Thackray Williams Solicitors.

The South East Property Expo, now in its second year, has quickly become the region’s largest property event attracting buyers, sellers and investors from across Kent, Surrey and East Sussex. The organisers say that, due to overwhelming interest, they have already confirmed over 50% of the stands and are looking at ways to increase the size of the show to meet demand.

James says ‘Here at Thackray Williams we are all really surprised at the momentum the show has gathered in such a short space of time. That being said, it does serve one of the most buoyant property markets outside of London and the need for a quality property event was clear.’

The organisers say that, beside a bevy of celebrity names and high profile speakers, the show is also great day out – with a free sparkling wine bar by Squerryes vineyard and award-winning food and drink from Tonbridge Old Fire Station (T.O.F.S). Clearly, one not to be missed.

The event is organised by the regional firm of solicitors on a not-for-profit basis. In fact, this year the event will be supporting local charity Eleanor - an organisation that supports families facing terminal illness in Kent.
