Career

Caroline is a Fee Earner in the Family department. An experienced Family Solicitor, she is a member of the Law Society Family Law Accreditation Scheme.

In her role, Caroline deals with all types of Family Law cases, ranging from divorce or separation, where all matters are agreed, through to complex litigation over financial or children-related matters. She also drafts and reviews family contracts including separation agreements, cohabitation agreements, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements and deals with cases involving domestic abuse.

Caroline’s clients come to her at one of the most stressful times in their lives and as such, require advice and assistance in understanding the options available. Caroline and her team aim to provide a bespoke service tailored to suit to each individual and their needs, giving clear information about costs from the outset, reviewing the costs regularly and discussing them with clients so they retain complete control of the situation. Sympathetic and compassionate, Caroline takes the time to listen to clients’ specific issues and needs. This enables her to identify priorities and ensure the client achieves their desired outcome.

A graduate in Law and Psychology, Caroline went on to complete her Legal Practice Course at Guildford College of Law. She then trained with a firm in Reading, dealing mainly with Legal Aid cases involving care, adoption and domestic abuse. After qualifying in 2009, Caroline began to take on more private cases, such a divorce, financial matters and private children disputes. She moved to a firm in Bromley in 2010, before joining Thackray Williams in 2016.

When not at work, Caroline can be found battling with her small child, walking around mid-Wales, or sitting on the beach at Little Hampton. She also enjoys attempting to whip something up in the kitchen, more often than not with disastrous effect.
