Alexander Willingham is a Paralegal in the Leasehold Enfranchisement department. Having undertaken a Law degree, followed by a Masters in Commercial and Corporate Law, Alexander recently finished his Legal Practice Certificate at BPP Law School before joining the Leasehold Team at Thackray Williams.
Sensible and organised, Alexander takes a structured and objective approach to working, which he feels lends itself well to the way Leasehold works. He feels this approach also helps client’s matters to proceed more smoothly.
Alexander believes client service is at the forefront of working in a Law firm and he focuses on this throughout the work he does. In his own words, Thackray Williams is big enough to benefit from the positives of being a large firm, but also small enough to remain personal. This helps Alexander and his team provide a tailored service to meet each client’s needs. He enjoys the complexity and challenging nature of law and finds it keeps him on his toes and provides a feeling of satisfaction.
Away from work, Alexander is part of an Organising Committee, sitting as a Judge for an international moot at Oxford University. For the last three years, he has met and judged students from all over the world who go to compete.
In 2013, he completed one of the best and most difficult challenges he has ever experienced when he climbed Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell pike in 48 hours. When not walking up mountains, you’ll find him watching Game of Thrones or Harry Potter and tending to his pet Ball Pythons, a hobby Alexander has had since the age of 7.
