Education/Career History

Attended St. Michael’s College, Kirkby Londsdale, Westmorland.  Qualified as a solicitor in 1975.  Joined Bartlett & Gregory in 1976 and became a partner in that firm until the merger with Thackray Wood in 2002.

Divorce and judicial separation proceedings

Resolving disputes regarding maintenance, division of capital, division of property and pension sharing

Resolving disputes between non-married couples and other cohabitees

Resolving disputes concerning children and in particular Parental Responsibility, contact, residence and the specific parenting issues

Enforcement of Orders

Acting for third parties seeking to intervene in financial disputes between husband and wife (e.g. claims by in-laws)
