Bromley New Business Accounts Handler
(£18,000 - £20,000 per annum)
Permanent, Full Time.
This is a time of growth for Thackray Williams, having recently opened our fourth office. We now have an exciting and newly created role as a New Business Handler (Private Client) at our Bromley Office. The role reports directly to our Marketing and Business Development Manager but operates closely with our Private Client team. As the first point of contact for the majority of new private client enquiries, the position is responsible for achieving sales and managing the initial stages of those matters while delivering an exceptional level of client service.
Beyond the account management aspects of the role, the New Business Account Handler will also take some responsibility for the allocation and fair distribution of work to Solicitors and Legal Assistants while liaising with the Head of Department.
The role would suit someone from a relevant sales, legal or private client background. As this is a newly created role there will be some expectation that the successful candidate will help define their role over time and so must be a self-motivated individual that can approach any task with enthusiasm and energy. They must also possess the ability to learn about the legal processes and sensitivities of private client work (which includes wills, probates and lasting powers of attorney). As such, coupled with their ability to successfully convert enquiries into clients, they will need empathy and the ability to communicate with a diverse client base.
If you have the necessary skills to be successful in this role, we would love to hear from you. Please send a current CV with covering letter explaining why you are a good fit for the role to firstname.lastname@example.org with “New Business Handler” in the subject header.
We are proud to have been accredited with the highly-prized LEXCEL Practice Management Standard for solicitors, showing we have the highest level of client care and practice management.
